A splendid CD, filled with pathos and contaminated by innumerable influences. A concentration of progressive with references to Celtic folk music, that does not disdain jazz-rock atmospheres and also includes some more rarefied introspective pieces leading to a certain new-age/fusion that is so dear to Pat Metheny fans.
The theme of the album is a trip around our planet’s horizon, an unbiased view of the large variety of countries and landscapes which have inspired so many different musical flavours and atmospheres and that accompany a journey in search of the beauty and harmony that are waiting to be discovered by the eyes of those who are able to see their true nature, free from any clichés.
